Kia Ora! I'm Eunice, a dedicated Multi-Sensory Structured Literacy (MSL) interventionist and an Accredited Member of the Australia Dyslexia Association (AMADA). I am also recognized by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) as a certified dyslexia interventionist.
My journey in literacy specialization began in 2017 when my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia. Driven to support her, I pursued structured literacy training through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Structured Language Education (IMSLE) in Australia, achieving MSL reading interventionist accreditation in 2019. By 2023, I had furthered my credentials by earning accreditation from the International Dyslexia Association Center for Effective Reading Intervention (CERI).
This journey ignited my passion for early identification and intervention of reading difficulties. I am a registered Level B assessor with Pearson Clinical Australia and the New Zealand Council for Educational Research (NZCER), offering comprehensive dyslexia evaluations and educational diagnostic services. My training includes administering the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-3) and The Dyslexia Test, among other standardized educational assessments.
I'm a New Zealand Ministry of Education-approved structured literacy facilitator under Freedom Literacy through PLD provider Learning Adventures. I provide structured literacy interventions targeting reading and writing challenges and conduct workshops to promote effective, evidence-based literacy instruction grounded in the Science of Reading and the Science of Learning. Additionally, I have formal training in multi-sensory mathematics through Maths Australia and am experienced in maths remediation using C-R-A techniques.
